Jalousie louver window - conversion LS to RS

Hello, I bought two perfect jalousie windows for my ´68 from a stash of 10 windows on a VW market, but both are "left side" only.Is it possible to convert a "left side" window to a "right side" window using a correct regulator/crank mechanism only? Thanks!

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't they fit either side?

I just bought two random ones and they fit fine?

I mean westy louvre windows?, I think Devon louvres are to wide for the sliding door side?

Westy jalousies will fit either side but the debate is where the winder should be. I suppose logic dictates near the back but there are benefits to having them either end and I wouldn't be bothered about it!
