I noticed the inside of the windows are useuly soaking wet after camping this is due to the air dropping down to below its dew point and the windows being the coldest spot I've managed to get around this by buying one of those cordless window vacuume rubber blade things if like me you are keep your bay outside I've found it the easiest way to keep your bus dry and keep the Mould off your curtains during the rainy winter months

I use:

This kind of disposable dehumidfyer is what works for me!

Generally buy them from a pound shop!

+1 for the de-humidifier crystals. That is what I have as my van is stored outside during winter. it's amazing how much water they absorb and refills of the crystals are cheap enough.

You are probably doing this already in some form or other but I run my van once a week at a fast idle for 30 mins or so and open all my heater vents which gets things nice and toasty.

That in combination with the crystals seems to keep things dry for me.

I've got a 1kg bag of re-usable silica gel to try and stop the condensation on the windows.. Doesn't seem to make much difference in my bus when camping, it stops the windows going misty on a normal non-camping morning though.

Might have to try one of the refillable one Alex posted above!

I've got 3 of them didn't seem to make that much of a difference I'm an air conditioning engineer by trade I just found this the quickest way to remove the largest amount of water of course if I wasn't so compleatly poor I would stick it in one of those caravan storage places ( it's tough at the bottom )

I've picked up an early bn4 eberspacher I might try using that to get the old girl warmed up only thing is its petrol and I'm a bit nervous of it don't suppose you have any experience with them do you

I use a small 400w greenhouse heater. Does a lovely job of stopping condensation and frost on the windows, ready for a drive early doors. Just have to remember to unplug from shore power before driving off. Also have a small ctek battery charger keeping the battery topped up for early morning cold starts.

Cheers
Jim
