seeing as Araon kindly mentioned my 'Beeglebus' thread I felt it only polite to add some photos.....!
The dark grey stuff is actually roofing felt, bought from B&Q. It's sticky backed, so is really easy to use. Get it in the builders' yard bit btw....
I used some of it on the roof as well....
then added foil backed bubble wrap, also from B&Q...
as you've mentioned Dynamat, here are some piccies of my last (late) bay with the Dynamat over the engine bay:
and roofing felt on the floor:
The Dynamat was expensive , over £100 just to do the engine bay. One thing you need to bear in mind is that it is VERY sticky.....once it's on it ain't coming off, especially once the heat from the engine helps it to stick...
I must admit when it came to doing 'Beeglebus' I just couldn't bring myself to put Dynamat on my shiny new paint.
Given that the new engine has just gone in which is a bit noisier than the original stock one  I may well regret that decision, but time will tell....!
The roofing felt is also good in the cab door panels, helps them to 'clunk' rather than 'clank' shut.
let us know how you get on....
