key snapped in ignition what next?

hi all,

foolishly ive used a dodgy key in my ignition and its snapped,the end is still in ther so it does still work,although its a bit iffy,

whats the best thing to do now? (would ideally like to keep 1 key for ignition and doors,as i have now)

any help welcome,

If you take the lock barrel out then, using a fine watchmakers screwdriver, you can carefully and gradually ease the broken part of the key out.
