L Code Barrel Identification Help / 211.843.709D

I bought a pair of L Code Barrels a while ago. The part # these were sold under was; 211.843.709D. Was wondering if these would fit my front door handles on my 69 EB. or are these sliding door ones or have different application still?

Those are sliding door ones up to the end of July '70.
The cab door ones have a different part number which implies that there is a difference in the cylinders, as VW weren't in the habit of making extra parts if they could help it!

Cheers mate. So looks like one of these could be for sale later as I cant use two of these on single slider.
Do you know what was the cab door barrel part number? If I knew, I could hunt for some NOS ones too

211 837 217 H = August '68 to end July '70. ( L profile for door handle 211 837 205 N).
211 837 217 F = August '67 to end of July '68. (For door handle 211 837 205 J).
211 837 217 J = August '70 on. (R profile for door handle 211 837 205 N).
Note the 2 key profiles for door handle 211 837 205 N.
I'd double check to see which handles you've got as they may not be original to your chassis number/build date.

I think my door handles are correct/original to my chassis number (L Profile - p/n 211 837 205N). here are some pics, but will double check later in the day.
