Latebay gearbox into an earlybay ???

Does anyone know of any problems ?

Last night i popped the gearbox in and offered engine up and seems to all be fine.
Is this right ?

Im using a late box so i can support from mounts at top and do away with rear engine bar as i drag it everywhere i go :roll:

id keep the rear engine bar whatever you do, save putting any unnecessary stress on the bolts and stuff. you can shave it down to sit pretty much flush with the sump but if your still dragging it, its probably better to drag that than expensive bits of engine.
