Leaking solex carb?

Hi All

Since buying my bus a yr a go I've noticed the carb often shows signs of a leak and the horizontal plate section with the hole in the pic below is wet. Any ideas where this could be coming from and how to fix?

Hi,

Can anyone direct me to an overhaul kit for the solex carb? Also I don't suppose there's an idiots guide to performing the task?!

Think I've finally discovered what is leaking on my carb.....the Welch plug?! Guy on the samba pointed me in that direction and on closer inspection it is oozing.

Any ideas on sealing this with something? Guess best thing would be to remove fuel pipe to start with and get it dried so there's a chance of some sealant sticking to it.....
