Hi All

I've recently replaced the roof on my van, making it now a tintop.

Anyway, the rear windows leak at their front end.

The water comes down inside the window skins, both sides and collects in a little channel.

But no water on the inner (interior facing) skin.

I don't remember any holes being there.

Any suggestions?

One side has a 1/4light, the other just a solid window.

Your gonna have to spend some time with the old watering can and some boz roll. One person on the inside and one on the out. Checking slowly but surely all the way round the van in foot sections, so you can determine where the water is coming from. Put boz roll all the way round the top and keep checking it. (best bet is to put a little bit of green food colouring in so you can see as soon as it comes in)

It may be getting in by the rear hatch and travelling down the skins.

Worth a go. 8) good luck

yup! otherwise it may look like blood

Cos you end up feeling very week and cant be arsed to check for leeks

The best way to find the hole is with water with lost of washing liquid
in it pour around the area you think is leaking then get a air line
and blow around the area you should see bubbles in side the van.

if one side has a 1/4 light then thats how the water is getting in. they may look nice but they also provide a way for water to get in. when i removed my 1/4 light most of the window surround along the bottom had rusted away
