refitted my windscreen a few times now

keeps leaking, not sure why, maybe, but what can i do to stop it

its a new rubber, been in a coupla weeks, we refitted it again yesterday and still leaking

getting the windscren right can be a nightmare. you need at least 3 people or it pops out at the sides and leaks.
i normally have one person at each side and one inside doing the string
whats the rubber like that your using? some of them can be mickey mouse! also i use lube to get it in

Check the rubbers a good one.
After fitting with a cord make sure its 'fisted' into place well.
Is the glass genuine 'securit' ? some aftermarket screens arent a great fit.
I take it the join is centered at the bottom?

heritage rubber

securit vw glass

join at the bottom

bus has had damage in its life front end, so not sure if that helps
its been fisted/palmed in

Did you use sealant?

I did on one screen I did, and it leaked bad. I changed for a dry fit and it was fine .... the 'lips' in the seal mean you shouldnt need sealant, and using it can actually cause water ingress.

Ive never used Heritage for rubber, but Id assume theyd be good?

warm the rubber up before you fit it, makes it more plyable.
nick the missus hair dryer for that one!
