Can anyone advice where to get a full lock set from, the mrs will kill me unless I get the van locking

Well I used custom and commercial, I don't know if they are the best, but they do a good job and sell good products, you can also send all your old barrels back and that as well, not sure if you get it cheeper I am guessing you must

What doesnt work about them? different keys or just dont lock at all?
they are pretty esy to rebuild yourself if you are patient, theres a couple of threads on here showing how to do it, I rebuilt all my locks to work off one key 8)

I bought a full set of door barrels, ignition barrel, complete engine bay catch all matched to the same key from Gabriel VW Keys & Locks in the States. hassle free unlike my dealings with C & C. half the cost & no tax.

C&C were not cheep I can't remember the price but I would ring around

I paid around £110 for the full set all matched to 1 key. (plus 2 spare keys)

I want all my locks to work off one key.

My drivers door lock fell to pieces. If i was to buy a new lock and handle, is it possible to modify all the original locks to work off the new key?

Exactly the same thing happened to mine, the barrel split in half!

i brought a new handle from JK for a temporary replacement barrel (if it fits)..

until i can get a new set for my OG handles

new handles are not interchangable with old , barrels are different size
If your handles are ok I'm think the barrels of beetle handles can be used
(not 1303)

As others have said C & C ain't cheap, I think it cost me about £70 to re-tumble engine lid lock & supply key with postage
