Lowerd the van a while ago and after driving it around on holiday finding that at the front (dont know about the rear, dont sit back there) the suspension is like being out to sea, if you hit a bump you bounce a bit.
Front was lowerd with adjusters, new shock a year ago but only standard ones.
Do i need to go for different shocks, if so which ones, without breaking the bank are gooduns to go for.

hay rusty i put coil overs on mine and was not impressed by the ride so me personally wish that i had gone for a gas shock as the ride is just to hard and depends were you live and the condition of the roads by me it is an absolute nightmare fed up with road watching pot holes arnt to bad its were the have dug up the roads ie water gas etc bouncy as so for 100 150 squids i would get gas shocks and enjoy the comfort!!!!

for a tight budget rear beetle dampers work well, shorter than van ones, so won't bottom out, even with really quite low vans, mines easily lower than average. not too stiff either, so a descent ride quality. i use them, totally satisfied.

i think they may need spacing (washers) a little as they are abit thinner than van ones. so if you just bolt them in they're at a slight slant and not truly inline. does that make sense.

it's somehting like that. they've been on my van so long i can't remember the exact issues, there are some, but negligable. certainly worth the ten quid ir so they cost new anyay.

worth considering?
