Yay! Happy Days, off for a cruise now then?

Nope, she's back in the garage under her cover already!
You know how it is, the wife says we've got things to do. :|

I was expecting to get an advisory/fail on my front shocks to be honest as they feel a little to soft in my opinion, however my mate who done the mot said that they are not allowed to fail cars for bad shocks anymore! Bit surprised by this !

Anyway he said they are a bit bouncy but are fine, I might look to stiffen the front up a bit in the future though.

Can't fail on bad shocks? Seems wrong to me?

My thoughts exactly but apparently VOSA had lots of complaints regarding garages wrongly failing vehicles for faulty shocks (obviously costing the owner x amount for replacements) so to clear things up they just removed shocks as one of the things to be tested. Seems very wrong to me and probably dangerous.
