Bought a maypole cover the other week, this week has really out it to the test, been hammering it down and the cover feels wet in some places but underneath, very dry! Thumbs up from me on these

Hi, did you get the £80 one off ebay? Ive been thinking of getting, but just spent money with Madmatz for flooring.

Hey AGPlant, you can get the cover cheaper at leisurecamping I think it's called. There is a thread on here about covers with a link to the website, do a quick search. If I remember the price was about £60.
I have one of these covers as well for my tinted and it's a great fit goes just past the domed hubcaps snug all around and can be tightened with straps in the back.

I did get mine off eBay yeah. Like said above, it's plenty big enough but can tighten up with straps.

Would someone be able to post a pic of the Maypole cover on their Bus as i need to get a new cover. How many straps does it have underneath. Is it 2 that goes from side to side? And is the fit quite baggy as i my Hamilton cover was very baggy and the material has ripped away from the fixing straps overnight in the wind so am a bit wary about getting another looser fitting one. Thanks, Peter

Hi Sausage,

My cover is all bagged up at the moment...

It has two straps on the underside between the wheels that you can snug up nicely.
In addition it also has three straps at the rear that you can use to tighten the whole cover to make it skintight if you so wish.

I've used this cover when it was storming this year and had no worries with it, just snugged it up for the storm and relaxed the straps after again. It is not a baggy cover especially not like in the pictures.

Leisure outlet has the cheapest prices for these I think.

It's a really good fit, can be loose if you leave the straps loose or have a spare wheel or anything on, or can be tightened right up. Also has zips to access either front door.

Here is the cover on the van. Its a far better fit than the Hamilton.

Be careful lads, I've just took my cover off to do some bits on van and it is well damp cos of all this rain, been sweating underneath and got Some micro blistering on the paint

I'm gonna leave it off now and just give It a good waxing and some waxoyl in doors

How long had it been on for? Just ordered one, lol. Will prob use when weathers going to be bad!

Been on for ages, comes off once a week or so. Problem is once it's wet it stays wet! And I thinn that impairs the breathable ness. Just be careful, check for condensation. My windows were steamed up when I took it off and the panels got a layer of condensation
