So far so good, haven`t upset anyone with pressies etc. Apart ,,,,that is from Mrs Ozziedog :shock: Been working in Maidenhead all week away from home, managed to get a rather cool chrimbo card that is actually Not from Tesco and Not from the local petrol station, and also Not purchased on the morning of the day in question as is my usual practice :mrgreen:
Now I always struggle with what to get Mrs Ozziedog for Chrimble ???????????

And so as Christmas approaches ^^^ is repeated on a weekly occasion :roll: So while I`m in Maidenhead, I spot some rather elegant looking manufactured (fake) lillies in a superb looking uber slim vase, there were a few different variations there but I really liked the black and white ones (ska) in a slim black vase and the same ones in a slim white vase but couldn`t decide which to get ?? So I`m thinking ,,, what the hell it`s chrimbo,,,, I`ll get both ! :shock: . Spent an absolute age wrapping them up as you can imagine, ackward shape and all that, got a bollocking for nicking Mrs Ozziedogs wrapping paper as well :msn4: So Mrs Ozziedog is `intrigued' by this odd shaped parcel and asks,,,, " Is that for me" she enquires ???? "But I didn`t get you anything" OHHH that`s ok I reply,, you can wrap up that new Tom Tom that`s arriving by post,, for me to open on the morning :mrgreen: So the scene is set and chrimbo morning arrives :mrgreen:
I open the nice new socks from me mum and a great pair of gloves, also a splitty calender :roll: that some clued up peeps have got me :lol: and Mrs Ozziedog opens a cd from someone or what ever until I say here`s your baby !! :mrgreen: Open it very very carefully :mrgreen: So she gets half way through opening and gets to a bit of cardboard that I got from the garage to make the box,,,,,,,,,, Portable Barbeque,,, she says,,,, YOU are taking the p,,,,,,,,, :shock: NO no no honey ,,that`s just a piece of cardboard, keep unwrapping,, so she keeps unwrapping, with the mood darkening by the minute, and she eventually gets the two vases out,,,,, Oooooohhhhh,,,,,,,,, hhhhhmmmm,,,, uuummmm and it`s then decided that they are ok, 8) , so that`s good,, so she keeps unwrapping and gets the flowers out of the larger box then her look of delight instantly changes :msn4: :shock: :msn4: now I`m starting to worry,,,,,,,,, needlessly, I thought,,,, till she looks up :shock: :shock: YOU,,,, ARE,,,, Taking the pi55 says she,,,,,,, :shock: :roll: :shock: What is this load of crap!!!! So I tell her I`ve paid a small fortune for them from an art gallery
And that each set was well in excess of fifty five quid,, but for her it was worth it !!! :mrgreen: So she relents and tells me they can stay until the guests arrive,,but I fear they are destined for the dustyshelves of garage with me and Sherbie :lol: So ,,, will the guests say OOOOOOhhhh or will they say AAAArrrgggghhhh, I will confess later that they were indeed less than a fiver off a stall on the high street by where I was working :lol: Think I`ll keep my head down for a bit, and maybe slope off down the garage once the guests have distracted her :lol: :lol:
