Mesh Behind Grill

Anyone fitted the one of a later bay? Does it need much modification to suit the early grill?

im not sure about this but i think the differences are fairly substantial and the later one might not be modifiable due to the material. My early one is made from a plastic frame with the mesh set in.

there are even two types of 'early' inner mesh grille as well! one with recesses for the screws, the other is just 'flat' if you k.w.i.m.?

I bought one from C&C and It fitted with no trimming at all
