Banged a couple of windows in today and painted and fitted the front badge

The badge was fitted using the orginal holes and clips as the letters that were changed didn't effect the size or layout.

Cheers for your comments can't believe the van's come on so quickly.

been down the garage again today got a few more bits done.

Finally got the wheels to fit without rubbing, after taking about 20mm of the rear arches and switching the wheels around.

Fitted the front cab mats, seat covers and all the door cards (just waiting on the fabic so I can cover them)

bolted down the 3/4 bed and fitted the jailbars and rear curtain

and the most important thing I fitted the fire extinguisher in the engine bay

Right I've done as much as I can to the 'monkswagen' now as it's big bang tomorrow.


It's not finished far from it been delayed by late deliveries over the bank holiday's :{

But hopefully it's enough to get me there and back. If you see me @ big bang just come over and say hello.

Made it yeah! got all the way there to big bang and back from Portsmouth.

Had a great weekend, which made all the work so far worth it.

Now I'm home the resto can continue

It's been a while, I've been happy using and enjoy my bus thought the summer and not got a lot more done. You know how it is! use it and put everything off to the winter. lol

interior is nearlt there just waiting for the winter to do the 3/4 bed trim to match the front.

I left the original cover under the new one as these are like rocking horse poo to get hold of.
