It seems my van was made / registed 68 but is classed as a 69
Was worth doing and has some interesting info on there

according to your m-plate:

Planned production date
Wednesday, 07 May 1969

I would imagine whatever is on your V5 isn't accurate as it's an import The m-plate is pretty accurate although my brother in law got a birth certificate from VW and the production date was a couple of weeks later than the planned one given by the m-plate decoder

The planned production date is exactly that, not necessarily the actual date of production.
