I have been thinking about writing about my van for a while now and decided that this is the place to do it :D I have owned the van for 6 months and bourght it for £700 from Ebay without seeing it  .

From the pictures it doesn't look to bad however once i picked it up and took it to a resotorer there was some issues...

after this nothing realy happened for many months mainly cause only being 16 i had no money also the restorer was busy.

However in January of this year it was booked into a new restorer for one reason or another and work began. Firstly the front beam was nearas sh*t and fell off the body as well as underside needing holes welded up.

however at this point it was supposedly discovered that the engine was a 1300 not 1600 however this was not the case i had the wool pulled over my eyes one of the problems of being 16 i suppose :( however i do now have a 1600 twinport :D.

these are the only some of the pictures and i will develop some more and put them up of the work. enjoy :D

Well i have got the pictures from the work that was done before the restoration before i got my hands on it the list of work done is as long as my arm however the restorer didnt give it to me  so ill keep following it up .......

Then i finally got it back and started my own work to fix the problems they didin't do and continue the work
It envolved light body work and general clean up as it hasn't been washed in 2 years by the looks of it  Using the help of my assistant/smarter working partner i set about more work

Also i borrowed myself a new toy and its yellow :p

Then i ran down to halfords and tried to get a L90D paint code unfortunetley over time and inexperinced mixers meant the colour was slightly too green compared to the rest of the van.

That is it so far i will add more over the next few days as i work my way through more bits.
