Cheers Graham. I liked the black crinkly stoneguard finish, but I'm warming to the red now that the running gears going on :)

gninnam: the bus was rolled over gently onto several old tyres. I don't doubt that it's probably dented a few panels - but it need bodywork anyway so that'll get sorted when she's back on her feet (well wheels) - which will hopefully be next week.
 
Brief update as the freshly painted running gear is starting to go back on... Also took some pics without the flash which makes the red look a bit darker and not so orangey/bright :)

Your basic 68 front end... Not... :) (weedeater + csp + t2d dropped spindles)... lol!!

Next tasks... refit steering box, paint & fit steering arm, refit pedals & master cylinder, paint driveshafts, feed through the new wiring loom (from Rocket ron) :)

Let's just say there's been a few 'set backs' ;) lol!

But, there is a plan in place, so let's just see what happens next :D

It's good to from you again - did you find any more old photo's of the bus?

Must look for some photo's.
Think the most of them are distroyed by my ex.

I'm currently restoring a 72 Kombi from Austria but same as you having some set-backs :(
