suspension wise it has wagenwest (i think) beam from somewhere in the states(from ebay) with adjusters and abt an inch narrowed with all new parts and red bug shocks,at rear it has horseshoe plates and kyb lowered shocks..

Sounds about right!

I'm gonna sort the ride height out after I've sorted the interior, looking for more narrowing on the front and some adjustable spring plates on rear, might loose the wheels too if some 15inch split wheels turn up!

Picked up some hessian today from a local place, trimmed the boot lid piece to see what it looks like, will look good against the black bed I think!

Update, got some good progress made on then head lining today, few more hours and it will be done.

For the grippers above the doors, I tried just folding it and shoving it up and this is deffo not the way. Had to cut some strips of tough card and stick that in the fold in the material. Ball ache but it works well

Also picked up a load more hessian and been messing with that! Had to learn how to use an iron

Great seeing this....pick our first bus up in a couple of wks and I think clearing the inside will one of our first jobs. Excellent job though!

Got the roof liner fully up now just gotta fit windows back in.
Also did some insulating, 2 layers of bubble insulation. :mrgreen:

Not updated for a while, phone and photo bucket app being a pain in the arse!!
Anyway, managed to get 2 layers of insulation everywhere, all the roof lining finished and all the windows back in, what a job! Certainly wouldn't rush to do that again. Glad it's sorted tho. Few pics

Got me some led bulbs which are brighter than the standard ones, a bit cleaner light too. got one done, looks good! Also trimmed up some bits that needed doin before side panels go on, did this bit and the bit on the sliding door below window

Not that much to add, I started to fit some interior panels but then discovered the boot was leaking and they got wet! So had to remove them and sort that,
Got a new boot seal, went on easy with no glue required. I put a drop of dinitrol underneath on a few areas, next up rear window seal! Doin that on sat.
Also got some new wheels which are at the powder coating place, 15" beetle smooths.

Had to take the cover off the bus and it was not doing it any good at all, sweating up under it and caused a few micro blisters! They seem to be going down thankfully!
