A great choice of colour, i was going to do the white roof but didnt in the end, so i will be super interested in seeing what yours comes out like 8)

I live in Clifton (I am not posh!) till sunday and then i move to Alveston with me mum :oops: then in hopefully 2-3 weeks to me new house in sunny filton! 8)

Most od my family live there mostly avon mouth :cry: .
I have lived in cleeve, clevedon, portishead yatton and w-s-m :lol:
But know l live in dorset where we only drink real ale and eat apple cake. Good times :D :D :roll:
 
The big house by the kids school (the old vicarage??) is my mates and my band recorded 3 albums down there! super nice place. When I am next down I will give you a shout. :D

Yes thats next to the church i used to work for the man who used to own it. :p
 
The devon pop top fibre glass skirt.

All cracks and splits now fixed with fibreglass and filler stard to sand down.
the alloy frame is nearly finished i have taken of around 15 layers of paint.

:cry: I think im going to run out of money to do the engine :cry:
So i will have to stick with the 1641cc i built last year it has a 110 engle cam a new crank heads and case so pretty new. I have also been to the scrap yard and got a set of weber twin 40dcnf carbs from a mg meastro
which i stripped cleaned new gaskets and seals just fitted on to engine just
need air filters for them no so if any one has got any pm me :lol:

Argh! i know i saw a set for sale + linkage arm on Fleabay this morning but i think the auction finished a few mins ago :cry:

:) Go to your local scrap yard and see if they have a mg meastro there and take the carbs off that i paid £35 for mine :lol:
The rebuild kits cost £15 the linkage i bought from usa with fuel pump and block off for manuel fuel pump cost me £65 with p&p not to bad.
the manifolds i got from fleabay for £41 with p&p. :lol:
So far its worked out at £156 for the carb set up. Nice 8) :lol: :shock:
 
i saw the air filters (i meant for you). but they were gone 10 mins after looking :cry:
 
Went to the garage for a check today. :lol:
They weld in new roof Nice 8) :lol:

:roll: Nice so far looks better in the skin every panel is now straight all
the seam lines are the perfect size and shape can't wait to have her back :lol: 8)
 
That looks like some cracking welding going on there! who are they and where are they! 8)

brings back memories, looking very nice indeed! Not long before you can build her back up together....be carefull not to scratch that shiney new paint though!! :D
