cut the bulge out of front pannel. also cut bottom of doors off to make new metal
plate up.

hi all.cheers for all the comments its getting there slowly.
been underneath van finding more welding. one side
finished now and 2 coats of stone chip.
i will go over all underneath in black when finished.

hi all. a few more pics.its had 5 coats of treatment on all underneath
so far. first coat is zink 182.2 coats of stone chipand 2 coats of black wax oil.

not posted pics for ages.made up and fitted new metal rear brake pipes,
fitted 4x new cv boots to driveshafts and painted up. cleaned up both carbs & alternator
new seal for gearbox mainshaft & engine rear crank seal.new rocker gaskets and adjust tappets,
new throttle and clutch cable, 2x new rear flexi brake pipes to fit just waiting for them.

all new seal fitted now.engines in and started fitted all the bits
kooking better now, its been 2 years and still going. new front
discs and fit calipers off flebay with new seals.
also new front flexis needed and new metel pipes.

been busy on the bay. got the engine running. sound very nice too.
been finding more bits to weld up
also lowered the van on the front end, got rear to do soon,

will sort ot the engine wires and bumpers need loads of work. i had to cut
the front bumper and weld up so fits better,

rear end dropped. drove the van out of the lockup for first time in a year & a half

yes it is good to drive it a few feet. no brakes tho only handbrake
cant wait to get out init.

been busy finishing drivers front inner wheel arch. found a few more bits in
n/s rear wheel arch i wasnt happy with so welded them up.
still got to seem seal all archers then black wax oil it all.
also been doing the roof a few rust spots and the odd small dent
and stripping the paint of the alloy trim with a hand scrapper
then wirewool.roof saggy as strips in rppf broke so will have to make
some new ones to get it looking straight again;

thats some good work there mate. it always amazes me how a late front panel can be converted to an early and you wouldnt notice the difference.

still have to finish bottom of both cab door repairs.still loads to do

heres a update on the van,still got the endless money pit
not posted for a while.
new bits-
new front discs
new pads
pad kit n pins
new front calipers
new front flexis
new metal brake pipes all round
new brake master cylinder
new roof seal kit
new voltage regulater
new plugs.
also fitted new beam adjusters
and new red n white walls

the vans now got brakes been years without brakes
been preping the top half of the van ready for paint
always doing somwthing to the van but it dont seem to look any different
