I know this won't interest many of you, but I'll post it up anyways :)

Got back from 10 days in Cornwall yesterday, I took my van down there and had an awesome time with some friends 8)

I was due to leave on the monday.

This is the engine mid afternoon - friday.

Got the engine back in, and had a chance to take it to the club meet on the sunday evening.

It pissed with rain all the journey.

We arrived there safe and sound, except the slight petrol dripping worry.

Van overlooking widemouth bay:

Horrible looking sky:

I was rather glad I was in the van to be honest. On the first night, the girls tent flooded. And the guys tent flooded before the end too. And I was warm and dry all the time :D

The remains of the gazebo:

Great to see you enjoying your van after all your hard work getting the roof back on and exams etc - you've done an inspiring job and deserve to enjoy it 8) :D

;)

Well done mate - you've deserved some decent r + r after the hard work. And your ex rear view mirror now adorns my bus - cheers.

A panoramic view over Crackington haven 2 days ago.

The van made the journey without a hitch, except for a small petrol leak which I noticed at a service station. I think the filler neck is perished and spilling fuel when I go round corners. Another fun job for me :)

reminds me of RTTS, camped near lost gardens of Heligan, spent the night repegging the awning, as the wind & rain howled in from the sea, luckily it was dark,, saved getting me clothes wet !

Nice one fella, we set off down cornwall on the sunday morning and the evening there was great but then it turned so know exactly how yer mates felt in there tents :).

Unfortunately we tented and travelled in the missus van and not the EB. But thats another story a possible thread on mechanics and painters that piss you off I think....

Good to see your enjoying the bay now..... :D :D living it as it should be.

It looks beautiful!

My back yard opens out onto this (literally)....

hey johnny you dont fancy an earlybay parked in your yard for a week next year do you? would love to stay and have an amazing view like that to look at everyday! 8)

Theres a well maintained van park about 200 yards from the house. It overlooks the beach and has full facilities.

Our beach was one of the first in the UK to be awarded the blue flag. Its a shame the weather so ****** atm.
