IMG_7222.jpegIMG_7176.jpegIMG_1159.jpegFOR SALE £22,000 - PRICE REDUCED

‘Maple’ is a 1972 Westfalia crossover. Other than replacement floor, curtains, and new roof canvas, she is original from new.

We bought her 7 years ago and have had great family adventures - driven to France twice from Yorkshire. She started her life in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It appears he was imported to the UK around 10 years ago via Vancouver. She has original decals and lovely additions from previous owners like the Canadian national parks permit stickers and Vancouver parking permit (see photos). Comes with full set of invoices from her time in Canada and UK, with original instruction manual.

She has been garaged all the time we have owned her.

12 months MOT, recently serviced with new brake caliphers fitted.

We are including an Outdoor Revolution inflatable 6/8 person tent-awning, and hook up cable. We are also including thermal window coverings for camping. Ready to go camping this summer, would ideally suit a family - our boys have outgrown her so we are moving into other adventures.

M plate specification:
- Canadian camp mobile specification
- microbus
- pastel white paintwork
- dark beige (dunkelbeige) leatherette interior
- factory fitted Westfalia pop top
- eberspacher BN4 petrol heater for passenger cabin (we have never used this)
- manufactured 24.04.1972
- delivery destination Vancouver
- left hand drive
- sliding door on right
- 1679cc dual carb engine
- 4 speed gearbox
- roof hammock
- smaller hammock for across front passenger seats
- original chrome hub cabs
- brake servo fitted with dual circuit brakes
- speedo calibrated in miles
- rock and roll bed
- wooden panels
- all interior original (apart from new floor and roof fabric)

Since owning her we have:
- fitted leisure battery (van has a small fuse box)
- installed lovely walnut chrome steering wheel and accompanying gear stick from AirCooled Accessories
- replaced roof fabric
- replaced curtains
- installed new checkerboard floor

Serviced and MOT’d every year and garaged all the time

Full disclosure, there is some rust coming through on the arches and if we were keeping her we would get this addressed. Not a big job for new owner. Couple of small nicks in the bench seat fabric - given we used the camper as a practical campervan we have decided not to renew covering but can be easily replaced by new owner. I have more photos and can send these separately.

We are in Ilkley, West Yorkshire
