S Reg mk5? cortina ghia what a great car that was.

Never took any pics of them it was 20 yrs ago now.

3rd was a 65 mg midget

Which i still ahve and got back on the road a few months ago.

YVU246T - a 78 devon camper in Marino Yellow, anyone seen or heard of it recently? Was green the last time I saw it.

Second was a LHD ragtop 62 beetle - CAS527
Third was a ragtop 56 LHD Oval on a 67 semi-auto RHD floorpan - SGOXXXF (cant remember the numbers)
Both were imported by me from Hungary - found on a whim during a family holiday in the camper!!

I'll just show you the VW's - BTJ336J my first bug all those years ago, I saw it parked up a drive and put a note on the windscreen.got it for £50 and it started after being stood for 4 years - amazing - That was it then - HOOKED!! it was too far gone to be MOT'd but it gave me good grounding in playing with VW's! here's me, much younger with my first bug............

CPX153L - another 'stood up a drive' car, only this one was a bit better and it was my daily for a few years before tin worm beat us!.........

then AKA214J - originally registered in Liverpool, coincidentally that was her final resting place!!

I went Mexican then..........

and my current and final baby which I bought off the first owner!

Mini first, then a datsun 120Y (don't ask why) this was then followed by numerous minis, an ital( :?: ), loads of company cars, lots of golf gti's. our favourite a friend brought of us when we moved house as it was going to be sat outside (1987 karman Cabrio which still only has 66K on the clock). Our first aircooled was the bus 3 years ago, since then a beetle (donor) and a GP beach buggy tub. Sadly the last two have gone as the Mrs was moaning about the raised pond in the middle of the front garden :lol: :lol:

My 1st ever car was a Mk1 Ford Fiesta 1.1L which i had for about a month and since then i've lost count of what i've had or how long i've had them.
All i know is that since May 2005 (not including the camper) i am on my 12th Daily!

Fiat 126, noisy lil baswart it was too. Then a metro, then got into Clios with the first being a tuned Williams that went like **** of a stick, then a 197, had a chance to get a V6 but it was too fast. Then i saw the light 8)

I too had a 1303, held together by dulux emulsion Fond memories. Only lasted about 10 months before the bulk head snapped.
