Please remove your fuel filter out of your engine room, place it near the tank (above gearbox), it's dangerous in the engine room.

Is it really dangerious? My fuel lines are brand new and so is the filter and it is in the same location.

Well it is a little scary when you think about it?!? :?
If the line were to fracture in anyway, it would be straight onto a hot exhaust.
I think im going to move mine.
BUT... it all depends on how much you service them and how good the work is that is being carried out!!

They do some good metal ones on ebay that you can just change the filter inside and reuse the housing.
Ill try and find it for you as I need one myself.

Refitted the flute today!!
What a tw@t!! :lol: see why they changed it to the threaded type after 70!!

Then went to Stanwick lakes with the little one, It was nearly under water with the rain weave had over the last 48hrs!! :shock:

Was going to have a go at removing the rear qtr window as its had it!!!
But after several attempts I think it might be a job for the pro's!!

So Gave it a good clean and put it back together and moved on to some other jobs I knew I might be more successful with!!

1: Move fuel filter under van near gearbox... (cheers Mycha!)

2: Take door cards off and adjust locks so they....lock!!

3: Wire up 12v outlet.

4: Adjust front bumber so overriders dont touch body work.

5: Give her a good wash and crack open a few cidre's and watch the end to a very sucsseful Olympics for Team GB!!!!! Well done, You made us proud to be British. :anim_19: arty0041:

Hey Mycha, yer thats my Dad's retirement project!! (59, 23 RHD, Samba.)
He is still acquiring parts as funds allow!!! its getting there.....just very slowly!!
We hope to drive to Wolfsburg when its finished to get some pics outside the factory they both once rolled out of.

But its no Westy!!

so I can get shot of the noisy bag'o'***** Ive got hanging off my rear end. :lol: (popping and banging and drowning out anything less than 1000db!!)
I would like to get one before Busfest?!?!?

We will have to see how much the wheels go for as I didnt get much response on here.
They are at 300 but need 400 at least!! Which is still a steal as the spray job on them is fantastic.
On most Sprintstars its the Finnish that determines the price is they come pre-finished I think??!? And Made of Steel!!
Also wide Rears and narrow fronts are the way they should roll.....IMO.

Really good hol thanks, 8 days of bliss and the weather was good too only had a few showers so bonus

And came home with supplies :lol:

The garage is coming together now all the reinforced footings are in all materials ready just waiting for the brickie, hopefully he's starts tomorrow, and then it'll fly up
