Fits all year bay window buses but ball joint drum brake spindles will make it ideal for 68/69/70 MY buses.

Gaz adjustable coil over shocks fitted to shock mount relocators to ensure alignment.

Everything you need to go as low as you want up front. Just add brakes and wheels.

Hi, I’ve just removed the front beam from my 1969 bay, I was going to fit an adjustable beam, standard width from JK, I’m not that bothered about going that low at this stage, is the highest level that this set up goes fairly close to standard?

I raised it up a few years ago for a trip abroad. Not standard height but it certainly took it above any height that would cause problems that lowering normally does.
I guess if you fitted your standard ball joint spindles it would be about standard.

That height works for me. I still have everything else stock…drum brakes, original wheels etc, will it all go back on with your beam etc?

Yes. everything will fit back onto it. It comes with narrowed track rods and the leaves, so everything else is the same.

Thanks for sending these. Looks great, Couple of questions:
Where are you located?
Do you think stock steel wheels and tyres will fit?
Also what have you fitted to the rear suspension to make it work?
How old is this beam, shocks and dampener?
Why have you removed this?

Stock wheels - yes. Stock tyres won’t fit if you are using drop spindles though as they’ll rub the arches.

I fitted adjustable spring plates at the back , but you can just rotate the standard spring plates to lower the rear.

I bought over a period of time , spindles are maybe 14 years old , beam 10 years, dampers 8 years (?).

I fancied a change so I fitted all standard suspension and slightly larger tyres. I was going to keep it all so I could swap back if I fancied but just had one of life’s curveballs thrown at me, so I could use the cash.

Thanks for getting back to me. I’m gonna weigh up the cost of collection (I’m in York) new tyres and rear plates to see if it’s gonna be cost effective.
