Narrowed beam - shocks and track rods

hi all,

going to be fitting a 4" narrow ball joint beam to my crossover,

what shock absorbers are people using? is it worth going for a coilover

also track rods, can these be flipped over or is it ok running them the normal way when its been lowered a fair amount?
