new bolts for rear hub carrier

hi all
just got some rear hub bolts for the rear hub carrier the two smaller ones, and the problem is the ones that came off were 35mm long and the new ones are 28mm long rest of the size is M14x1.5.

just got off the phone from hertiage who looked into it and say these are the correct bolts for the bus but the ones that came off looked right when they were in there (just poking threw the other side) do i get the size i have on there now and just use the 28mm ones till then or are these the right ones and nothing to worry about?

well the threads that went through were doing f all and 7mm aint going to make any odds,thats 7mm less what was sticking through 2-3mm?so will be ok. 8)

It might be the early threads are worn, and the longer bolts are reaching good threads?
