Looks like a SS engine, judging by the description?
I bought an engine off him and never actually used it in the end, sold it to a local VW specialist for fitment to a camper.
They found he hadn't torqued the head on one side down properly and as a result it could have ruined the engine, luckily fixed before any major damage caused
Not saying he's bad, im sure most are spot on. I didn't complain as I didn't own the engine anymore but still felt like sh1t as the people I sold it too are good people. (And I assumed it'd be perfect)
Not trying to start a debate, I could have complained and Im sure he would have sorted it but wasn't my engine anymore.
Ill not be using SS anyway when it comes to getting another
