hi i've just done a deal on a new engine for my bay it's 2110cc BUT is running street eliminator heads and comp ratio of 9:1 any one think i'm guna get away with it or am i just stupid ?

You are going to have the steering and ride and brakes spot on bud before any serious hike in power.Dont mean to be blunt or anything. But a cracker lacker hype in power is like a kick in the arse when unloaded in one of these babys (type 2).Ive been in some VERY scary rides where folks have compromised on the basics in the head long rush for more grunt

yep your right i've already rebuilt the front suspension and fitted csp discs , but i know what you mean as i used to drive an oval with a puny 150 bhp ! that had had discs and suspension done and that used to s"*t me up, so it's guna be mental in a early bay !

Mental is not even in the area bud.By the way how solid is the old girl. The idea of that clobber pushing me in the arse would ***** the life out of me.

HE (his name is Phill) is in good shape , there is no rot problems , here's a pic [/img]
some how i don't think it worked

Shouldnt be a problem at all!!!

Im running same kind of power and as long as you've got yourself some decent cooling then it should be fine.
180bhp - 2110...ohh.........must be big cam/big carbs i guess

USB???

ye fk87 and 48's ,(the 180bhp is clamed but i like the thought!) i will be getting it rolling roaded, does anyone know of any other mods i'll have to make ? when i used to run a 2.3 in my oval i had gearbox brace bar, h/d axles, side plates etc etc

If you are using a fully merged sysytem then you'll have to modify the support bar.

some huge ceramic drilled discs upfront and failing those a parachute deployment system or ejector seat and good insurance

doooo !! drove 4 hrs to pick up the engine only to find an engine that had alot of artistic licence applied to it's discription, so i left empty handed , so got cash burning hole in my pocket anyone got a big engine ?
