Hi all, just wanted to introduce ourselves - Stewart and Naomi here, the soon to be proud owners of a 71 Dormobile called Earl.
We pick him up on Saturday from the sunny Isle of Wight, and can't wait!

We came to Stanford Hall show and saw the earlybay line up. Some very impressive buses there!

Anyway, just wanted to say Hello, and ask a quick question - does anyone know if all 71's were fitted with disc brakes? Or the general spec for the van?

Disc Brakes .... yep general spec, you'll need to take a look at the M codes for any real info, theres also a lot of info on the differences between the years, but basically the big differential on the 71 was the discs and the smaller pcm of the wheels with flatter hubcaps and of course the vented rim. things like brake regulators, servos, etc.... most of the earlies have there perculiar 1 year only bits just to add a bit of fun into the equation....
