Some may be aware that we was recently burgled and lost my iPad, lap top, I phone and cash etc etc. They also took both of our cars , her mini and my merc. To top it all off they took all of our keys and I mean all of them, both sets for both cars. We are still wading through the muck and garbage they call insurance and the last shout is they have offered me £900 for my old merc which is what they say is market value, obviously less my £250 excess. Great innit. The car is written off because of the locks and keys replacement, plus it’s had a little wack that has scrapped a wheel and tyre, and that ‘ may ‘ be the total damage. I’ve also recently gone back on the tools locally for myself doing a handyman / small time builder / roofer thingy which is starting to be OK.
So , :D no sympathy please, I’ve had a lorry load of that over the past two weeks and I’ll spew it I get any more. :(

So ‘’‘New Motor ‘’’ to go with the new me :? I’m not after a Towjob, I don’t want to spend squillions, so somewhere in the middle. Something like an Escort van, or a caddy or a mahoosve estate car that can look wicked with a st of steps on the roof instead of a surfboard. Miles are gonna be a lot lot less now maybe less than ten or twelve thou a year, so it don’t necessarily need to be as frugal as a a mouse on a cheese free diet if you get what I mean. So, does any one have anything for sale ? I’m looking at a grand ish but could step up if something appealed . Even a little Honda van or a Suzy Uki little van. I’m completely open to ideas and would sooner get something from someone who just wants to get rid of something but knows it’s reasonable. I’ve had to clear space a couple of times and had to get rid of a motor and virtually had to give it away. A type 2 pickup or crewy would be ace but maybe a little out of reach  ;)

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,, anyone got anything ?

Yeah ,I know  But stuff happens and I’m making a change and I’m back on the tools and work is trickling in. The good bit is driving my Early to work as a daily, the bad bit is trying not to crack it up with ladders in and out, and tool bags and buckets and and and :msn4:

Ozziedog,,, ,, , it’s a bit like wondering what you re getting for Chrimbo   :!:

There are a few over on VzI mate - heard about your burglary over on bookface, utter scumbags.

Cheers bud, I can’t get on there normally but I’ll follow your link. I had issues getting on there with my other stuff, maybe I should just re join with a newer email. That sounds like it’s a bettererer idea all round as I got a new iPad now.

I noticed a subaru forester on eBay the other day. 54k miles, starting bid 99p and nobody looking at it....... Might be some bargains out there if you can be bothered doing a (lot?) of looking

Now that’s a good idea. Run a forrester into the ground and sell it to an air cooled owner once it’s buggered. Two birds with one stone.

Ozziedog,,,,, I like it

Loads of MkII sdi Caddys about around the £600-800 mark.
Good reliable vans for the money. Wish I hadn't sold mine.

A mark 1 is even better, good luck getting a wheelbarrow in the boot though :D What about a Renault traffic theres loads :party0006:

Sorry to hear that Ozzy, this world is going crazy by the day...
What about a T4? I have a 2.4d(the one nobody likes) and she is amazing, i love it... very reliable and tough. They can be picked up quite cheap still. I think it's also a great investment.
