Got my wheels back recently and retrod - thanks for the Mike Knight tyres recommendation - great service indeed. Had a little scare when got there as they said I needed inner tubes as the seal wasn't the greatest and they didn't have any. Luckily they found some
Here's one wheel retrod before going on:

I've kinda bucked the trend I guess and gone 195/60/14 front and 185/?standard?/14 rear instead of skinny at front. Did this as knew it was ok as had them on before. Saw a van recently whilst @ Poppit Sands in Cardigan (that anyone on here?) that had, I think, 185/60/14 front and 185/65/14 rear or something similar to those ratios. Had firestone firehawks on and looked very nice. Thinking of getting that next time although given the low mileage I do that could be some time!
Was a bugger getting the rears on as slightly lowered and I couldn't get the shock bolt underdone even after a week of daily dose of wd40. Ended up deflating the tyre and getting a bottle jack between the spring plate (think that's what I mean) and the body. Bit of a scary moment really. Kerb side one went on much more easily. Think that was because of the camber of our road.
Only downer is chipping the paint when putting them back on but it's on a unseen part of the wheel but still hurts when fresh paint is chipped!
Still waiting for my bumpers back from the paint shop...poss end of Aug now as they keep booking in new business. Grrr
Am now mobile tho!
