Hi peeps

I have just joined, i currently dont have a bus :( but have just started looking at what is around.
Would ideally like a tin top ealry bay 71/72ish

Well looks like i will be spending many a week reading through all the treads and getting to understand all the techincal as i have never owned a VW Camper. Lots of learning ahead

Well just wanted to say hi

Regards

thanks for the welcome

I have seen a few, just not sure on which way to go, buy a panel van and covert/buy a resto project or but a tin top all ready to go

Just trying to get an understanding of the costs involoved really with each project

yeah been looking around

quite a few outside my budget so might need to re-think and save some more or go for a basket case and take my time to restore

hrrrmmm the choices

might even have to sell my Seat Leon cupra to fund the project

Hi Guys

Anyone suggest any good sites to find a van? i have been on dubs4sale, is there any other good sites people have used?

thanks in advance

can think of plenty from when i was looking, though it depends if you want to go private or trade,

you've got the samba, volkszone, volksworld, and of course early bay for the private

or Midland Early Bay, VWClassics, Vintage Valley, etc, if you buy Camper & Bus magazine there is a lot of traders advertised in there.

Evning mate. Good luck with your search.
Have you tried Pistonheads?

hi mate, welcome to the site, good luck with your bus purchase, have a good think about what sort of bus you want and what you'll be using it for, stick to your guns and you'll have your ideal bay.
