to be honest - ive only just learnt to upload pics!

Thanks though, I got it in the states at VW Classic 2004. It was all pretty much stock then, the owner had everything turned to grey as her husband just died and it was thier baby. I think it was a mourning phase........ but I liked it...

:D

Hi - thank you :D

I was in sussex but moved to Cornwall 4 months ago..... so now i get to cruise around down here which I am loving!

Chassis no 238043130.

I run a 1776cc motor but my other half wants to beef it up so it can tow his race car (when its finished!), I just seem to keep adding bits to the bus, there always seems to be something else. Mulling over the idea of a rear safari if I can raise the £££ and some deluxe insert for the window rubbers. And as for the stickers, I have been sticker mad since about the age of 5, I just cant help myself!

NICE BUS,

can you tell me how you fixed the grill to the headlights?
got them to but a pain to get them mounted.

very nice bus indeed
I've noticed you have a towbar on it but also have a very cool exhaust 8)
Could you tell me witch one it is and did it fit without any adjustment :?: And would it be possible to show me some pictures of the combo towbar and exhaust monted :?:

thanx anyway and enjoy your ride

Nice one Er-ly! glad you sorted out posting the old pics!

Quality bus!! looks like that trip paid off  Shame we didn`t meet up the other weekend, but no worries will be down by you soon, so will give you a shout.

Give my regards to your other half  and hope all is going well with his "shop" 8)

Hey Ez, yeah - sorry again about that weekend. You should cruise down in your bus and we can hook up. Im sure Matt would like to show you his workshop at the newly named - Cornwall VW Village!

Greg - Hi, we bought the headlamp stoneguards Nos and they came with three little kind of sping clips per side. They were slippery little suckers to say the least! They hooked around the guard and then around the back of the headlamp glass. I needed a pair of pliars and as many arms as an octopus - it is so fiddly!

Sedan - Thanks for the comments. From what I can remember the exhaust is a "phat Boy" and getting that to fit around the original westy
towbar was a real headache - well for my other half anyway. He had to cut the pipe and let another bit of tubing in (not very technical I know - sorry!!) I will try and get some pics for you........

:D

Looking forward to cruizing down soon so will give you a shout. The VW village sounds ace, may have to get meself an apartment

Yeah, I think Matt would live there if he could! We are just lucky that he bagged a workshop on some land already host to a VW Restoration place, a paintshop and aircooled parts shop. So if you need anything.......

So, now I never see him :D

Usually can`t see him as he has a thin coating of oil!! unless he has been surfing of course!

Very nice bus you've got there 8) Hopefully see it in the flesh in the not too distant future if i'm lucky :D

hallo,

any change of getting some pictures from the adjustments made for fitting that exhaust

thanxs
