Well happy new year one and all!
Small update:
Olive has had some work done to to the under side, weeding out any rot or potential rot and replacing with fresh metal thus making her completely solid once again for another 45+ yrs hopefully!!
The lower front valance has also been bare metalled, repaired accordingly and is now awaiting a fresh coat of paint once the bus is mobile again to be driven to the body shop.
The 'Creative Engineering' air beam has now arrived, but as it's designed and built for a splitty it won't be a straight forward fit, however it's in Evil Bens capable hands, so I've every confidence.
(I just hope it's finished in time for CamperMart end of this month as I'm booked in to display.)
I was hoping to have the rear bagged whilst it was currently at Bens, however funds and indeed time have sadly almost ran out. So this will now be put back to the end of this year, which will allow me more time to save funds and install a proper self levelling electronic system.
It's been over 5 months now since I last laid eyes on my bus and with show season almost upon us again I'm beginning to get itchy feet!!
Here's to a better year than the last ......hopefully!
