Hello all,

I have finally convinced my girlfriend that we need a camper and from a bit of looking around a type 2 bay is the way forward. We are not too fussy but equally are not skilled enough to take on a complete project. If anyone is looking to part with their van please let us know.

This seems a cracking forum and I look forward to getting to know u all a bit better!!

cheers!

:D

Hello Tallbay and welcome to sleepless nights!I too have just been through the same dilemma, but after a short while found my little bayby just up the street from where i live, all the guys on this site are super helpful and sure someone will point you to just what your after!Good luck mate D!!!!!!!!

Hi & welcome to the forum.

Do you know what you are looking for and at what price?, currently have a tintop westy due in within a couple of weeks from the US and also know of a very nice westy poptop that can be shipped on request.

I know people don't like to reveal their budget but it helps people steer you in the right direction of buses that are available, also worth stating if you are looking for tintop, poptop, RHD or LHD etc as these also help.

Good luck in your search and if I can be of any help drop me either a PM or an email,

Hello again everyone!
Thanks for the responses - I have found a van, not a million miles away and am picking up on thurs. It is a 1977, rhd pop top in white and I can't wait!
Anyway I know it needs two new doors and at least half of the sliding door. Where should I be looking for these? I am based on the south coast (Dorset)

Cheers all! :D

Well done, just a shame you have gone to the dark side and bought a late bay :( :(

For parts go to either SKP (Southern Kombi Parts) or FBI in Swansea, both of these should be able to help you out or point you in the right direction,

If it needs doors whats the rest like :?: :?: :?:
I hope you have looked at others and not bought the first bus you have seen, fingers crossed you found a good one
Simon

My fingers are crossed! But if it turns out to be more of a project than I intended.....then I will just have to get stuck in!
thanks for the names of the parts places.
;)
