Good show with lots of shops to keep wor lass happy !!! But i've been stuck next lots of chavs playing sh##e music out of there transits & corsas all night everytime i've been.

Dont go with any preconceptions and have a great time. It may be the biggest VW 'themed' event in the UK but it isnt the biggest VW event. Lots of cars, transits etc will be there. In general camping lots of noise, lots of loud music and some instances of unsociable behaviour.

Lots of very cool cars though, some good drag racing, various traders and a good chance to have a good laugh with lots going on.

Bad weather at the Pod is bad news, but you cant plan or blame anyone for that. Im going, Ive been going pretty much since '91. Its no way the best event of the year (after EBI thats a tall order!) but it'll be fun, Im sure.

Its my first year going but i've been warned about the chav's so were prob going into family camping since the missus is pregnant and needs her rest! (she's moody at the best of times lol)

Saying that the people we parked next to at the bus stop over played fekin hardcore all night what's that about?

forget the chavs,its always a great weekend,true twas mudfest last year but the dance tent is great and theres always the parts for sale,oh yes and the .. DRAG STRIP .vw only rwyb anyone up for a race?

I haven't been since '89, have they sorted the toilets and queueing out :lol: even then it had loads of chavs before they were called chavs, camped next to some lads in a zebra stripe bay who stood on the roof and greeted each non vw with "BOY RACER IN HIS NOVA/ESCORT(delete as appropriate)" :lol:

Have been going for years & yes it is full of chavs & corsas. We originally said we wern't going to go again as its doesn't have that VW chilled out feel anymore (make sure you lock everything cause loads of scum try it on) but we have a large crew from East Anglia going so what the hell a party is a party
Must admit if it doesn't feel right this year we won't go again but saying that so what as theres so many other good shows on through the year.
Lets just hope its a good one :?
