paint and body protection ideas/companies

hi all, my bay is continuing to paint bubble around the edges in all the usual spots. I intend to cavity wax before the winter sets in but I wondered if anyone knew of anyone who could sand back and preserve and hold off the encroaching patina for a while longer!!! most companies seem only to want to do a respray, understandably to show case their craft. I would have ago myself but time and space are short!
anyone know of anyone in the east midlands or surrounding area that does such work at reasonable costs!?!? I like the preserved rust look but I presume there is more to it than whacking on the laquer?
