okay, even tho i have been told by most on a seperate post on here, bumper on instead of off, i am still exploring
options.

now the mounting plates/irons exit without the bumper attached quite nicely either side of where the engine lid finishes.

SO, you can mount anything too them, ie, cut down original bumper to cover the corners, a newly made one, even a pair of sandals  :msn4:

i have the original with overiders which i can mount back on when i like so its no biggee, just i quite like a more minimal look and the exhaust showing seems to flow on the bus quite nicely, (i like original, but i also like to mix with new ideas) SO feel free to suggest, or as the title says, do my rear end

You could chop the bottom out to show more of the exhaust,Some thing along these lines.

Have you tried the bumper on to see what it looks like first ,I think it would look ok with the full bumper or doesn't it fit...Dave

Sorry about the first one  but it had to be done ;)

Quarter bumpers might look cool, like on Mk1 Escorts. Right era too.

Years ago I made quarter bumpers for my old ragtop Oval, looked reet smart. 8)

The beauty of putting them on a bay is you have two mounting points on each corner so they won't flap around like they would if they were mounted solely on the bumper irons. Probs won't do a great deal in protecting your rear end though. :msn4:

Cheers fellas and nice photoshop work groundhugger :D
I ain't in any hurry but will see what develops :)
