I thought we all joined earlybay.com so that we could help one another to keep our pride and joys on the road, if so why do so many of you charge rediculous prices for parts, come on everyone this is not a place to rip off fellow early bayers,

There have been a couple of threads on this topic this week, and the general feeling seems to be that it is reasonable to ask a fair price. Those who are actual traders are different from those who are not of course, so we need to distinguish between them and take that in to account.

Personally I have bought from both types of seller (and sold too) and felt fairly done too on every occasion. If the price is higher than I am willing to pay, I don't pay it...simples. If I want to get rid of my stuff, I ask a reasonable price.

But I do agree with your philosophy and see a lot of hands-on help being given free of charge on the forum, for which I for one am very grateful.
