After putting 3 coats of undercoat on and giving the top a 1200 w&d
session decided that it looked pants - mainly due to small pits and
little dips!

Bought some high build primer to see if this helps, but not to happy with
the end result so decide to flat back and use some body filler (making the
holes bigger with a screwdriver, so that I can fill in better).

Here's a few pics:

After letting the filler dry overnight and spent the morning sanding back
with 180, then 400 then 800 w&d till I get a good finish.

Finished off with 3 coats of undercoat, pics:

Will leave to dry full over the next few days and will go over with 1200 w&d
then will spray on the top coat!

Till then :D

Cheers J&M - seems to be taking ages - got to sort out the roof
on the van yet, fit all the bits to the poptop, then loads more - including
the welding on the chassis  :(
