porsche wheel problem

was about to put my wheels (flat dish late 70's/ early 80's) in for powder coating today when i noticed my wheels have a special valve fitted (on 2 of them anyway) - the wheel guy said this is for the air pressure sensor on a porsche and i will need a special tool to get them off and fit again after powder coating (to keep the air tight seal)??

any ideas or have you had the same problem??
