Hi,

Our bus will be going for welding then respraying in the next few weeks and I want to make sure I have all the relevant panels/brackets before it goes to the bodyshop.

At the moment I can only think of bumpers (& bumper mounts), the front grille, and the rear valance.

Are there any other chassis/body parts that get overlooked when going for welding/painting?

Am also still puzzling/debating whether to go for fibreglass bumpers - but what colour should the bumper mounts be? Bodycolour?

I assume the bumpers & mounts will also be required in order to check they sit straight/level with the front panel/arches and rear corners etc.

Cheers,

Mike

We have got them - but from memory they're a bit corroded.

Are they worth fitting? Can you buy repro's?

Definately worth putting back on IMHO!!!

Not sure if you can get repros - there were some OG for sale on this forum a few weeks ago. If yours are beyond saving I'd consider fabricating a pair - they look pretty straightforward and you've got the templates already!

;)

The U shaped hinge thing on the sliding door and the flaps behind the front grille are easy to forget about
