Guys

I've just received my clutch kit after seeing a thread in general.

The clutch pressure plate that's arrived looks like a later one to me but I'm not sure if I can use it or not?

The one on the left is my old one out of my 69 bus. The one on the right is the new one.

Both are the pad type but they look totally different.

That looks right to me (at least I hope it is as it was my thread, would hate to have made you order the wrong thing!). The later ones don't have the silver ring in the middle I believe. What make was your original one?

I have installed the new type of pressure plate and it is working great - replaced the old three fingered one that I smashed to bits.

Oh thanks guys, my old one was a Sachs. It was just the different look that confused me but they are both the pad type so I'll give it a go

Cheers

Mike

Yup it's a diaphragm pressure plate fitted with the earlier type pressure pad.

You will find the clutch is nicer/lighter to operate. :)
