propex 1600 heater

Have just bought my van it has a propex 1600 heater. When i switch the thermostat to heat the red and green light come on the heater fan comes on for about 5-10 seconds only. next to the heater under the seat there is a black box with two lights on it
(red - low vaultage cut off) and (green -burner on). the green light goes out immediately the red light stays on. No fan or heat come from the heater. The gas is on. Does the red light mean i dont have enough charge in the leisure battery.? when i switch it to cold air the fan works fine. Can anyone help Chris 07970 807125

Give propex a ring - I gather they are very helpful & if required can service it for you.

same thing happens with my propex system off the leisure Batt. does seeem to like a well charged battery to get it going

Propex as you said are very helpful. It is the leisure battery that needs a good charge. Got it working now. Thanks for your help.
