Hi I'm fitting a propex heater to my 71 lhd westy in the buddy seat.
A friend has the same model and just drilled through v floor for the two ports. Mine has a gap of a few inches then an inner sill section. Is it ok for the mot to cut a section out for the pips to come through?
Regards Dan

Do you mean sill or the belly pans? Belly pans aren't structural although they were added to sunroof models and westys to add some stiffness. I fitted mine in the buddy seat and drilled two holes through the belly pan

It is the belly pan. It has a hole in the other side for the fridge and sink

I also have a bracket to use when in motion. Any ideas how to fit this?

I believe the bracket for use in motion is there to secure the ends of the pipes to ensure that they don't rotate and end up pointing in the direction of travel, as potentially this will cause exhaust fumes to creep back into the cab.
