Hi, the PO of my bus (1970 microbus) decided to weld up all the side windows with steel plates (except the cab of course). The joins are now slightly rusting and I'm thinking about putting the glass back in (I have all the glass). However, I would like to have some sort of middle opening full length window on at least one side. I have the og quarter windows but to be honest, they've seen better days and I like to look of the louvered type or one i've seen that slides open. How realistic would it be to firstly put the glass back in and secondly, find a good quality opening window to fit. Van is a proper microbus not a panel conversion so the windows are recessed. :)
