Hi,

I know Raders are made by JGE and Randars are made in the US and that Randars have a flat spoke as opposed to the ridged spoke on the JGE Rader.

But other than that, are there any other differences? i.e. widths, offsets etc?

Will both kinds fit on a 68 bus with no problems?

And if I wanted to (in the future!), could I run a CSP disc kit with both types?

Thank you,

Mike

Another question...

Without knowing offsets of these wheels, does anyone know if a 205/70 fitted to a Randar/JGE would have any clearance issues on our 68 bus?

Thanks.

Hello mate, pretty sure that the randars & Radars are wide 5 so will all be okay with your bus. You will have to check with CSP or machine 7 about the brakes as you may have to sort different studs/nuts for them.

You shouldnt have any clearance issues, but would probably benefit from a thinner tyre on the front as the csp kits tend to push out the wheels a bit.

If its narrowed on your front end this will not be a prob, but your best bet is to speak with CSP etc to check if its all okay for your set up. (they are good doods and know their onions  )

I think that the CSP's narrow the track by 12mm, but that is on my KnL set up. Maybe different on a Balljoint set up. I'm not arguing with Easy's knowledge

In order to Fit JGE Raiders you will need to cut the CSP dust cover down by about 10mm in order for the wheel to fit over it, you will not be able run a centre cps on the front. Or put spacers on. Longer studs needed too.

Nice one Faux, I was just thinking back to a mate who fitted the csps to his bus and it pushed em out a bit. 8)

Best bet would be to ring csp as they will be able to help you out  8)

I had Randars on my old oval and I personally prefer the look of them over the JGE ones.

They are wide 5 pattern and mine were 5j but you can get them in different sizes.

Not sure about clearance on rear axle as was on an oval.

The chrome looked great but soon goes if it's outside all the time which might also be worth considering. I had to polish mine all the time but then it's only the rim as the centre spokes are brushed look anyway.
Good luck

got jge radars on mine. had a few clearance issues on the back front was fine. got spacers on the back and could only get 175s on. had to tickle the hub nut too. but well worth it!
